It's a sturdy sword. I was planning on buying the nodachi because it's heavier, but this one's weight is enough to swing it with one hand. It came as advertised, and the blade was covered with grease (is this the word?) wich is nice so it won't rust.

This Katana is well my for the price. Full tang. Better than those cheap swords sold on KBud.

I bought one of these to give as a gift, and then bought another to keep for myself. I ended up keeping both to use for playful sparring with former girlfriend. I have no martial arts or swordfighting training, so I am not qualified to offer an opinion on their effectiveness as authentic training items, but I enjoy them quite a bit. Be careful with use, as I imagine a strike to an unprotected part of the body could really hurt.

This was a Christmas gift purrchased for someone else. I haven't had any feedback that says he didn't like it.

Sword came in quickly. Blade quality and handle is very nice. Great for form practice. I bought a new guard from same company and I fell in love. Is truly full tang had to remove pins and handle to replace guard and went back together very tight. So over all you do get what you pay for. If u want a nice functional katana this is for you.

Thes Katanas were purchased as gifts for employees and were very good quality. The employees were surprised by the weight and sturdy feel of the swords. I will all by cold steel from now one.

This sword is not only of obvious high quality in all of its components and workmanship but it is also tough, elegant and beautiful. The people who made it certainly knew what they were doing and I am amazed it is offered at such an affordable price. I saw swords similar to this without the added cleaning kit starting at $550. The sword came in faster than expected, and met my high expectations. It is razor sharp, there are no knicks, and it feels as if it was built to last. In my opinion, this sword is worth the money.

I purchased this Katana to protect myself from zombies. You can imagine my disappointment when shipping was so slow that zombies had killed my whole family before it finally got to me. However, when it finally got here I was very impressed with the attention to detail. It is very sharp and light weight. The colors are beautiful. I have already used it to kill 7 zombies. One of which was the UPS man who had me sign for it. I didn't get a good look at him before I struck, but he appears to have turned back into a human after my fatal blow. I am currently hiding in a window well and spying on the zombies to learn their ways. When the time is right, I will strike. 5/5 would buy again!

Bravo!!!! once again cold steel has outdone themselves!! after purchasing a cold steel recon 1 from them and seeing how incredibly sharp those blades come and stay, and the perfect craftmanship that goes into them and what high quality they are, i went and ordered me one of these katanas.....

I own one just like this but the difference is mine was 1000 and this one looks better

awesome sword !!!!!!!, I got 742 out of 2000, it's a shame though that the certificate of authenticity I received is damaged.

I haven't tested this sword yet, but it seem like the craftsmanship is very nice and durable for intermediate price tag. Im satisfied with this purchased and I'm happy that I have a decent katana sword for my first time collection..I would recommend this to anyone interested for 1st time sword buyer who can't afford the handmade Japanese sword.

I actually strongly agree with the basis of your respective disagreement together with the RIAA. $1M with regard to several sounds will be ridiculous.
